I will begin with FDR Runaway Bay as I recently had first- hand experience visiting a family of 4 with a 2 year old and an 8 month old baby.

At FDR Runaway Bay the property is very inviting with its tropical garden like layout with a large swimming pool around which the setting of the resort is based. 

The buildings are white externally and each floor has a balcony with sea view.  Internal decorations of the family block are of vibrant Caribbean colours including wall murals and brightly painted pictures complimented by dark wood furnishings.

The accommodation consisted of a double bedroom, shower room and the living area had a child’s bed, comfortable easy chairs and a baby cot/crib.

Trained Nannies

There were a number of couples with children at the resort and with a trained nanny assigned to each family at no extra charge from 9am to 5pm daily. 

The children were a happy bunch playing games, running around having fun with their nannies in the gardens and on the shallow beachfront.    The nanny assigned to my friend’s family was enthusiastic, energetic and thoroughly enjoyed her work. 

It was a joy to see the kids running around with nanny having fun allowing parents the choice to enjoy some adult time.

Beaches Boscobel and Negril have everything for a great family vacation with kids of all ages.  Additionally older kids can use their passes to visit other Sandals resorts.  For the children and the child in you, the giant water park is absolutely irrestable.
